In summer of 2016, I had the rare opportunity to intern as a product designer at Carrefour in its Hong Kong office with a an amazing team of designers. Carrefour is one of the largest retailers in the world, with headquarters in France but offices everywhere. The team was focused on EPSC, electronics and anything that relates to something that requires electricity. I did design research as well as develop soft good designs. Due to the strategic location, I went to the factories to discuss on how to make the bag I designed. The variation in culture allowed me to learn how to communicate with all sorts of people and learn different languages.
